Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Zero to two years of relevant mechanical design or manufacturing support experience.
• Strong knowledge of statics, dynamics, materials science, and machine design.
• Ability to read and create engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain mechanical designs, layouts, models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Support product development from concept to manufacturing release.
• Perform basic strength of materials and structural calculations.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings per standards.
• Assist with FEA, hand calculations, and design reviews.
• Investigate issues and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and field teams to improve manufacturability and performance.
• Review supplier feedback and support standardization and cost reduction.
• Prepare engineering change requests and technical reports.
• Participate in design reviews and field support discussions.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and industry standards.
