An established industry player is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. A BS or higher degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
3+ years of mechanical engineering or technical design experience.
Working knowledge of design software (REVIT and AutoCAD).
Knowledge of building mechanical, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systems.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Effective interpersonal communication skills, a team-oriented disposition and work style, where cooperative work sharing and peer-to-peer mentoring is a daily habit.
Personal inclination to learn and grow via internal training, external training, and senior staff mentorship.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Able to support and enhance our department’s collective ability to perform Client Site services including surveys and inspections.
Prepares basic sketches and performs calculations in support of broader engineering activities involving the design of equipment, components, structures, or systems.
Gathers and records information to be used for writing specifications.
Reviews vendor drawings to assure compliance with specifications.
Models mechanical and plumbing/piping systems in Revit and AutoCAD.
Generates Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s).
Performs studies and prepares routine technical reports or sections of reports.
