Framatome North America is seeking an engineer to contribute to design, development, analysis and testing across nuclear energy projects. You will participate in field tasks, resolve quality events, and prepare specifications under guidance from senior staff. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, with possible acceptance of related degrees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required or equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Exposure to CAD modeling and programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specifications, field tasks and quality-event resolution.
• Develop awareness of government regulations and engineering standards with support of senior staff.
• Under mentor guidance, apply standard techniques and make minor adaptations using judgement.
