Who We Are
The BioServe engineering team consists of six engineers, two technicians, and two to three graduate students, representing mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. With several decades of combined experience building life science payloads destined for Shuttle, the International Space Station, and Artemis, the engineering team is highly collaborative and takes a multidisciplinary approach to solving complex problems.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The successful candidate will design parts, build assemblies, and test hardware that make up life science payloads destined for the International Space Station (ISS).
What You Should Know
This position is an on-site appointment that DOES NOT offer remote or hybrid options. This appointment is estimated to last for up to one year and may be extended pending funding, budget, and performance. The qualified candidate may be hired as either a full-time 100% appointment or as a part-time 50% appointment.
What We Can Offer
The salary range for this appointment is $75,000-$95,000 for 100% full-time employees with no relocation assistance. The salary range for this appointment is $37,500-$47,500 for 50% part-time employees with no relocation assistance.
