Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Associate in Florence, KY to perform basic mechanical assembly, labeling, inspection, and production reporting in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Tasks are performed under direct supervision with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in mechanical assembly or related production roles, can read detailed instructions, and are comfortable using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly, production, or warehouse settings.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to inspect assemblies and identify defects.
• Basic experience with scanners and production tracking equipment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow procedures.
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and assemblies per SOPs.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Apply labels to products and assemblies per procedures.
• Assemble inserted components and verify specifications.
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality and defects.
• Use scanners to track materials, work orders, and finished goods.
• Operate hand and power tools safely during assembly.
• Record production output and report status and issues.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and security procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and line managers, support additional tasks.
