Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on production machinery, packaging lines, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Assist senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components including bearings, bushings, chains, sprockets, belts, valves, and drive shafts.
• Execute routine plant utility inspections and facility repairs (air compressors, cooling towers, boilers, HVAC/piping).

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our plant reliability and maintenance team. In this role, you will assist in keeping production lines operating safely and efficiently. Working alongside the plant's senior mechanic and experienced maintenance technicians, you will learn to perform the facilities various maintenance tasks. This includes troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing heavy machinery, hydraulic systems, pneumatic lines, and mechanical power transmission components. We are looking for someone with a mechanical, handyman, or maintenance background. Candidates should be comfortable working with their hands and fixing things!

salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per year
