Job summary

Glosten is seeking junior or entry-level marine mechanical engineers to join our marine engineering group in Seattle, WA, Bellingham, WA, or Providence, RI. Glosten is a naval architecture and marine engineering firm with 60+ years serving the marine industry, working in teams to solve challenging projects in a fast-paced, collegial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Coursework or experience with marine systems, piping design, and vessel operations is a plus.
• Engineer-in-Training certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design propulsion drivetrains, supporting, life-support, and safety systems for vessels.
• Develop full 3D machinery plant designs inside virtual ships and integrate with control systems.
• Collaborate with teams to solve complex marine engineering problems.
