Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Setup/teardown of machine tools and load/unload jaws, fixtures, tooling.
• Download programs from central database and read them to understand processes.
• Load/unload parts, measure with micrometers/calipers and inspect work in process.
• Monitor cutting tools, adjust offsets and inserts, and keep work area clean.
