Job summary

Valmont Industries seeks an entry-level Associate Machine Design Engineer to support the design and development of proprietary manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with senior engineers and fabrication teams to help deliver safe, reliable equipment.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, documentation, and exposure to the full equipment development lifecycle, building foundational skills in machine design and engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Up to 3 years of manufacturing engineering/machine design experience.

Responsibilities

• Support conceptual design and development of proprietary manufacturing equipment.
• Create/modify 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly.
• Assist with design reviews, verification, and troubleshooting to catch issues early.
