Job summary

HCI Systems Inc. is seeking a Jr. Low Voltage Estimator in California to support Account Executives by preparing sales estimates from blueprints and specifications.

You will review plans and related documents to build takeoffs and estimates for low voltage systems, including fire alarm and access control, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn the low voltage trade in commercial construction.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, floor plans and specifications.
• Highly detailed, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; reliable follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple Account Executives on multiple projects to prepare takeoffs and labor/material estimates by reviewing blueprints, specifications and related documents.
• Develop accurate detailed estimates of material amounts and cost of labor to complete installation of various low voltage systems.
