Job summary

CACI International Inc in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Junior Logistics Analyst to support technology sustainment and logistics for COMNAVAIRLANT. This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and an Associate degree in a related field.

The successful candidate will manage device inventories, provisioning, and international service coordination, ensuring seamless operations for fleet and staff personnel and adherence to Navy AIS processes.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Associate degree in business administration, management or related field.
  • One year of Navy Logistics AIS management experience for each year of college education. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the product life cycle, from acquisition and distribution to allocation and final disposal. Maintain a real time detailed mast inventory of devices and peripherals.
  • Initiate Move requests for Fleet and Staff personnel transitioning devices between users.
  • Respond to device trouble calls and coordinate OS reloads and email application issues with service desks.
  • Coordinate international service for users traveling abroad and maintain real time accountability of assigned devices.

The Opportunity

CACI has an opening for a Technology Sustainment & Logistics Analyst at COMNAVAIRLANT in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the product life cycle, from acquisition and distribution to allocation and final disposal. Maintain a real time detailed mast inventory of approximately 450 Smart Phones, 75 Cell Phones, 20 iPads, 30 Hotspots, 5 Iridium Satellite Phones, 1000 Print Devices both Government Furnished Equipment, (GFE), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Printers, Multi-Function Printers (MFP), Multi-Function Devise (MFD) additional printer, scanner, copier device and peripheral devices. The inventory will be posted and maintained as directed by COMNAVAIRLANT N6.
  • Initiate Move request for Fleet and Staff personnel transitioning a Smart Phone from one user to another.
  • Respond to Smart Phone trouble calls, provide Fleet and Staff users in uploading or reloading Smart Phone Operating Systems and coordinate with NGEN/NMCI Service Desk assisting the user in resetting or reinstalling the Good for Enterprise (email) Application. Work with COMNAVAIRLANT N61 when needed on all cell phone trouble calls.
  • Manage International Phone Service for Smart Phone users traveling abroad. Responsibility includes maintaining real time accountability of users assigned International Service. Coordinate with the wireless phone vendor transitioning International Service from one user to another assuring reliable access is assigned.
  • Coordinate the documentation requirements to repair or replacement of missing, lost or damaged equipment.
  • Coordinate unique Cell Phone requirements for special command training and ceremonial events. This requires coordinating with the Command, Wing, or Squadron requiring the additional phone services. Identify type of service (voice, data) quantity, location, and duration of the requirement. Present the additional requirement to the CNAL HQ FM or CNAL N62 for approval.
  • Coordinate accountability and monthly usage reports and reconciliation reporting with each Type Wing Commander assigned phone coordinator. (Requires monthly action working with 16 Type Wing and Training Activities).
  • Maintains a real time inventory, by name accountability of Cell Hotspots. Devices are issued to traveling Staff members and training team members.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues such as equipment failure, supply chain disruptions, and obsolescence, thereby reducing the risk of costly, mission-impacting failures.
Qualifications
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Associate degree in business administration, management or related business discipline and minimum of three years of experience in Navy logistics AISs.
  • As a substitute for education, one year of experience in Navy Logistics AIS management for each year of college education. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
Desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, and Access.

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$43,500-$86,900
