Job summary

Dykema in San Antonio, with offices in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, seeks a Junior Litigation Paralegal to support the Product Liability & Class Action Litigation Practice Group and the Firm’s national automotive practice.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of litigation paralegal or law firm experience, strong organizational and analytical skills, and a bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal credential.

Practice Group/Leader: Product Liability and Class Action/Brian Smith

Dykema is seeking a Junior Litigation Paralegal to join its esteemed Product Liability & Class Action Litigation Practice Group and support the Firm’s national automotive practice. This position will assist with complex product liability and class action matters and work closely with attorneys and litigation teams across the Firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation paralegal or law firm experience and strong organizational, analytical, and technology skills. A bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal degree or certificate is required.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience supporting litigation matters, including discovery, document management, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with e-discovery, Relativity, ESI protocols, and federal and state e-filing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with attorneys, clients, outside counsel, and teams across multiple offices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools; LexisNexis, cite-checking, and Bluebook experience preferred.
• NALA, NFPA, or other paralegal certification preferred.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
