Leading boutique litigation firm seeks a litigation attorney to join its Chicago office.
Responsibilities
- Manage class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.
- Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, and preparing pleadings.
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations.
- Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
- Appear in court for motions and pre‑hearing proceedings.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
- 1+ years of litigation experience, ideally in a large law firm setting.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrate 'Big Law' quality of work with lower billable hour requirements.

- Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
