Absolute Business Solutions Corp ABSC is seeking a Junior Level Data Scientist to support DoD CDAO initiatives in Northern Virginia. The role focuses on accelerating data analytics and AI adoption to inform decision making from the boardroom to the battlefield.

You will design, test and support informatics and data science solutions, apply analytical methods, and present findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree plus 1–3 years or MS degree plus 1–3 years of experience.
• Experience with ML fields (e.g. NLP, CV) and statistical learning.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, Java or C with reproducible code.
• Experience handling large terabyte datasets and writing SQL.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures, develops, tests and supports data science solutions for diverse use cases.
• Applies analytical methods to diagnose data challenges and evaluate performance.
• Documents requirements and presents findings to teams and clients.
• Develops baseline data modeling processes and informs data strategy.
