Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties. The role involves basic tasks under supervision and assisting with plant materials’ upkeep.

Responsibilities include operating mowers, edgers, and blowers; pruning shrubs; planting and maintaining flowerbeds; and performing general upkeep and safety duties. Eligible candidates must be at least 18, dependable, and able to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and dependable.
• Able to safely operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, edgers, blowers.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and trim edges with a gas-powered edger.
• Prune shrubs to improve shape or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Remove trash and blow leaves to the turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter while mowing.
• weeds by hand or using a hoe.
• Perform basic maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Remove dead plants and suckers from landscapes.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
