Position Overview

This hybrid role sits at the intersection of design and execution. The Junior Landscape Architect / Junior Project Manager will support the full lifecycle of projects—from concept development through construction—while helping ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high design standard.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on exposure to both creative design and the realities of building complex urban landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Design Support

• Assist in developing landscape designs, planting plans, and material palettes

• Produce drawings, renderings, submittals, and presentation materials (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite)

• Support site analysis

• Contribute to design development for rooftops, terraces, streetscapes, and amenity spaces

Project Management

• Support project managers in coordinating active jobs from pre‑construction through installation

• Help manage timelines, budgets, and procurement of materials

• Coordinate with internal crews, subcontractors, and external consultants (architects, engineers, developers)

• Track project progress, document changes, and maintain organized records

• Develop project estimates and budgets

Field & Construction Involvement

• Participate in site visits, measurements, and inspections

• Assist with construction oversight and quality control

• Help troubleshoot design and installation challenges in real time

• Ensure adherence to design intent and company standards

Client & Team Communication

• Prepare client‑facing materials and presentations

• Participate in meetings and take detailed notes / follow‑ups

• Collaborate closely with design, operations, and maintenance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field

• 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships included)

• Strong design sensibility with attention to detail

• Proficiency in AutoCAD required; familiarity with Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred

• Interest in urban ecology, green infrastructure, and sustainable design

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills and willingness to engage both in‑office and in the field
