Viltis in Gretna, LA is seeking a Junior Lab Technician to join a regulated toxicology lab. You will operate GC/MS and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory testing under SAMHSA guidelines, support QC, and review results for accuracy and compliance.

The role is full-time contract with initial training Mon-Fri 7 PM–3:30 AM, offering hands-on experience with high-impact analytical work and a clear path to professional growth in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and regulatory practices preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory testing.
• Perform testing in accordance with SAMHSA guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality control (QC) duties as assigned.
• Review and interpret test results for accuracy and compliance.
