Job summary

Nucleus Capital I. GMBH seeks a Junior Smart Lab Architect to plan, design, and execute laboratory projects. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and the construction team to ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency across complex lab environments.

You will develop detailed project plans and budgets, coordinate stakeholders, and manage lab construction across new, existing, and modular buildings, with travel to sites as needed and a strong focus on timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or project engineering.
• Experience in planning, design and execution of laboratory construction projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Excellent project management and coordination skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer orientation, service readiness and flexibility.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets for laboratory construction projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Work on laboratory construction projects in new buildings, existing buildings or modular buildings across HOAI service phases with focus on LPH 1-6.
• Organise and lead project meetings, coordinate subcontractors, and support defect and claims management and site documentation.
