PDI Health is a leading provider of mobile diagnostic imaging, and we’re looking for a mechanically-minded rock star to join our Richmond team. As aOperations Assistant, you won’t be in the background, you’ll be the one keeping the wheels turning (literally!) and the techs equipped to care for patients across the region.

This is a unique hybrid role: part logistics, part field support, part mechanical troubleshooting. What You'll Do:

Be the go-to resourcefor technologists when it comes to coordinating vehicle maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations.

  • Get hands-onwith our portable X-ray units, assisting with basic repairs and diagnostics (we’ll train you).
  • Support on-site successby delivering supplies, equipment, and urgent parts to field teams across the Richmond region.
  • Maintain equipment readinessby tracking maintenance records for both vehicles and diagnostic devices.
  • Jump into actionfor minor roadside assistance and ensure our fleet is always field-ready.
  • Learn and growyour skills in healthcare technology support, with real-world impact!

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Natural mechanical ability or prior experience with automotive/equipment repair.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (our insurance company is picky).
  • Willingness to learn diagnostic imaging systems. We’ll provide the training.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and communicate clearly.
  • A can-do attitude and pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable being on the road, working outdoors or in varied field environments.
  • Must be able to lift, load, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 110 lbs.
