ActioNet, Inc. is seeking a Junior Purchaser to support procurement of software, hardware, and related IT products for a Federal Contractor serving government customers.

The role handles requisitions, quotes, orders, and documentation while adhering to FAR/DFARS and internal policies. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop a career in government contracting procurement within a hybrid Vienna, VA environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 0–2 years of purchasing, procurement, contracts, logistics, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, internal customers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions for software licenses, hardware, peripherals, and IT products.
• Obtain vendor quotes, compare pricing, validate part numbers, and support best-value purchasing.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders per procedures and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with internal program teams, contracts, finance, receiving, and vendors to fulfill requirements.
