Job summary

Coakley Brothers & Brothers Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer I to join our Milwaukee design team. This entry-to-early‑career role focuses on learning the full design process while contributing reliable, high‑quality work under guidance from senior designers and the Director of Design.

You will support programming, space planning, renderings, and specifications, develop drawings and materials, and participate in client meetings as you grow your technical proficiency and industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (CIDA/FIDER preferred).
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, and 20-20/SPEC.
  • Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support design projects through programming, space planning, renderings, and specifications.
  • Develop drawings, plans, and presentation materials under guidance.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Sales and Dual Designers.
  • Conduct site visits, field measurements, and as-built documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and follow internal processes.
  • Manage assigned tasks and deadlines reliably.
  • Continue developing technical skills, product knowledge, and industry awareness.
