Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Instrument Fitter Helper to install and service instrumentation across industrial sites. You will read schematics, install devices, and calibrate recorders, transmitters, and controllers to monitor pressure, flow and temperature.

Candidates should have knowledge of pneumatics, electronics and electricity; be able to lift up to 50 pounds; and be legally authorized to work in the United States. No specific degree required.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and schematics to guide installation and maintenance.
• Installs instrumentation devices and wiring.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pneumatics, electronics and electricity.
• Calibrates recorders, alarms, switches and other instrumentation devices.

Responsibilities
