Job summary

Veracity is seeking a precise, coachable Junior Information Security & Compliance Analyst to join the Information Security & Compliance team. This entry-level role executes recurring tasks to maintain audit-ready programs across Veracity and its affiliates.

You will learn to manage security tooling, access provisioning, and vendor risk assessments while collaborating with IT, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Service teams.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience in security, internship, IT helpdesk, or audit support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems or related field.
• Experience with at least one major cloud or productivity platform (AWS, Microsoft 365/Azure, or Google Workspace).
• Ability to own recurring, detail-heavy work to completion without reminders.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), and documentation tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for audits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, alerts, and logs across AWS, M365, Google Workspace, and Grafana.
• Run recurring vulnerability scans and manage remediation tracker within SLAs.
• Triaget and triage security questions and incidents, escalating with context.
• Support incident response as first responder and scribe; draft post-incident summaries.
• Maintain security tooling health, MFA enrollment, and logging agents.
• Manage user provisioning, access reviews, and deprovisioning across orgs.
• Perform quarterly access reviews and document exceptions.
