Job summary

MANTECH in the United States is seeking a Junior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support our Air Force/Space team at Eglin AFB. You will help design secure architectures, validate requirements, and contribute to RMF processes.

The role emphasizes ATO support, continuous monitoring, risk assessments, and SSP documentation updates. A Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, along with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of direct/related experience in information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification

Responsibilities

• Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple Cloud hosting environments, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Validate and verify security requirements, establish security designs, and develop security architectures.
• Support ATO accreditation with analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and perform continuous monitoring
• Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Perform/support or review security assessments to identify IA vulnerabilities or non-compliances and recommend mitigations.
• Recommend cybersecurity-enabled products to implement security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation.
• Work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment
• Review, provide feedback, and help update/maintain SSP documentation.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.

The ISSE's primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Clearance Requirements

• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
