Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
12 years of experience in systems administration, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes and container platform concepts.
Basic familiarity with OpenShift platform concepts and administration.
Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Experience using Git for source control and collaboration.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with administration and support of enterprise OpenShift platforms, including cluster maintenance, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle activities.
Support Kubernetes/OpenShift platform operations to maintain reliability, scalability, and performance.
Participate in platform governance and operator management under senior engineers.
Perform Linux/RHEL system administration to support platform infrastructure and availability.
Collaborate with infra teams on load balancers, DNS, certificates, and dependencies.
Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, scripting, and IaC practices.
Support GitOps and CI/CD with Argo CD, Git, and Jenkins.
Troubleshoot OpenShift networking issues including ingress and load balancing.
Assist with platform security requirements such as TLS and access controls.
Monitor platform health with Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace; manage logs.
Assist in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and production support.
Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Create and maintain technical docs and runbooks.
