Job summary

Substation Engineering Company (SECo) in Reading, United States, is seeking an entry-level electrical engineer to assist in high voltage substation design (15kV–500kV) under a Senior Engineer. You’ll develop diagrams, specs, and assist with budgets and schedules, while collaborating with designers and drafters.

The role requires a BSEE or MSEE, EIT preferred, and 0–5 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and strong written and verbal English.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements: BSEE or MSEE.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 0–5 years of engineering experience in high voltage substation design.
• Basic knowledge of applicable theories and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops single line and schematic diagrams.
• Prepares material specifications.
• Monitors budget and schedule for assigned tasks.
• Collaborates with designers and drafters to guide drawing development.
