What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Respond to inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, paid time off, and leaves of absence via phone, email, and HR case systems
- Guide associates and managers in navigating HR systems and self-service tools
- Document call summaries and processing activities in the case management system
- Escalate complex issues to internal HR teams, including Specialists, SMEs, and HR Business Partners
- Support HR transactions within the Human Capital Management (HCM) system
What is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in HR support, shared services, or customer service roles
- Ability to manage high call volumes in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and follow-through abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience using HR systems (Workday, Oracle, or SAP HCM)
- Familiarity with benefits administration or leave management processes
- Prior experience supporting HR within a large retail or corporate environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to handle difficult callers with patience and professionalism
