Job summary

AMAX is seeking a System Engineer to design, deploy, validate, and troubleshoot high‑performance computing systems and server platforms. You will work with Linux environments and GPU‑based computing to meet performance goals.

Responsibilities include installing OS, bringing up hardware, testing, and supporting customer deployments while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and sales teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Fresh grad or 1 year experience with server hardware, HPC, or data center infra.
• Strong Linux experience (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Experience with GPU platforms (NVIDIA) and accelerator-based computing.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy server and HPC systems including GPU/AI platforms.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based OS and related software.
• Perform system bring-up, validation, and performance testing for new hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and OS issues in server and cluster environments.
• Collaborate with engineering to define system specs and interfaces between hardware and software.
• Review quotations, assist in resolving technical issues, and support sales activities.
