The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a dedicated coach for the junior high/middle school softball program. You will collaborate with head coaches and athletic staff to promote safety, responsibilities, and a competitive varsity experience within district guidelines.

• Ability to work well with students, administration and parents
• Previous experience coaching softball

Responsabilités

• Knowledgeable in duties, responsibilities, and safety for coaching, and promoting competitive varsity softball program.
• Facilitating off-season workouts in conjunction with head coach, and athletic department.
• Good communicator with various stakeholders at our school including fellow coaches, administration, athletic director, teachers, students and parents.
• Work with head coaches to organize camps for the lower grade levels to build a program.
• Knowledge of the IHSA rules and regulations governing a competitive program.
• Assisting with student-centered, integrity based positive environment, enabling athletes the opportunity to excel academically and athletically.
• Actively work toward positive partnerships with other district extracurricular coaches and programs.
