Job summary

Grace Church of Minnesota in Chaska is seeking a Jesus-centered Junior High Ministry Manager to lead a vibrant program for students in grades 6–8. You will create a welcoming, safe environment, recruit and disciple volunteers, and partner with the NXT Gen team to advance discipleship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or youth development preferred.
• 1–2 years in youth ministry or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, data entry, and databases.
• Must be organized, relational, dependable, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Junior High Ministry programs, events, camps, and initiatives.
• Create a welcoming, safe environment for student growth.
• Recruit, train, and disciple volunteers.
• Develop ministry goals, calendar, and budget aligned with church vision.
• Plan Bible-based teaching for junior high students.
• Foster small groups for authentic relationships.
• Model relational evangelism and engage families.
• Collaborate with NXT Gen Team and church staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and church-wide events.
• Evaluate and improve ministry programs; stay current with best practices.
