• Valid Texas school librarian certification or endorsement
• Two years of classroom teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Operate library/media center and collaborate with teachers to design and assess instruction.
• Promote reading and information literacy, digital citizenship, and resource guidance.
• Provide materials in print and digital formats aligned with curriculum.
• Establish procedures for selection, acquisition, circulation, and sharing of resources in all formats.
• Foster welcoming environment and equitable access to information for all learners.
• Support teachers with TEKS and ISTE standards; facilitate professional development.
• Supervise clerical aides and student volunteers.
