Thales Academy Cary is seeking a dedicated Junior High Girls Basketball Head Coach for the upcoming season. This part-time, non-contract role focuses on leading the team, organizing practices, and guiding student-athletes toward competitive success.

The position pays a seasonal stipend of $2,000 and requires collaboration with the Athletics program and school administration to support the學生's development and school-wide education goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tryouts for team
• Create plans for all practices and games
• Manage game decisions, playing time, feedback from players and parents
• Consistently communicate with Athletic Director, players, and parents
• Provide instruction and development skills to the student in relation to the assigned sport
• Contribute to the education program as a whole and to the growth of student-athletes involved so that they are successfully competitive.

Thales Academy - Cary is a private school dedicated to developing classical thinkers by preparing our students to become well-rounded citizens that are eager to transform a global society. Thales Academy Athletics is a lively, ever-evolving program that competes at the state level in the NCISAA, and are members of the Raleigh Area Athletic Conference.

We are currently searching for qualified coaching candidates to lead our Junior High Girls Basketball Team

Basketball is a Winter sport which will run from Mid October - Mid February.

Primary duties/responsibilities include:

• Conduct tryouts for team
• Create plans for all practices and games
• Manage game decisions, playing time, feedback from players and parents
• Consistently communicate with Athletic Director, players, and parents
• Provide instruction and development skills to the student in relation to the assigned sport
• Contribute to the education program as a whole and to the growth of student-athletes involved so that they are successfully competitive.

Pay:

All Coaches will be paid with a stipend at the end of the season.

• Junior High Head Coach: $2,000

As a part-time, non-contract position with Thales Academy, this employment does not include any benefits package.
