Thales Academy Holly Springs is accepting applications for a Junior High and High School Industrial Arts Teaching Assistant.
The mission of Thales Academy is to provide an excellent and affordable education for students in Pre-K to 12th grades through the use of Direct Instruction (K-5) and a Classical Curriculum (6-12) that embodies traditional values.

Responsibilities Include:
Assist with Industrial Arts and Luddy Institute of Technology (LIT) classes
Support classroom instruction and hands-on student projects
Set up equipment and materials following existing lesson plans
Help maintain an organized, safe, and productive classroom environment
Learn curriculum while working under the guidance of the lead instructor
Assume increased instructional responsibilities over time
Qualifications:
Some combination of experience or interest in one or more of the following areas: Engineering and Design, CAD/SolidWorks, Robotics, Woodworking, Basic mechanics, 3D printing, Electronics, Practical Life Skills, Home Repair, Cooking and Nutrition, First Aid and Safety
Must be adaptable, eager to learn, organized
Salary: Salaries are determined by experience and qualifications.
