Job summary

La Porte Independent School District Baker 6th Grade Campus in La Porte, Texas is seeking a Clerk, Junior High AP/Counselor to support the campus office and assist the assistant principals and counselor.

Starting date is immediate. The position is 11 months (210 days) with a pay grade PG 2 and an hourly rate of $13.75 to $19.18. A health insurance contribution is provided through the district.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient skills in typing, word processing, file maintenance, computers, and office equipment.
• Knowledge of school district organization and operations preferred.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the assistant principals and counselor with the routine work activities of the campus office.
• Handle confidential information and contact with all levels of district personnel, outside agencies, parents, and the general public.
