SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, seeks a Junior Interior Designer to support healthcare interior design projects for a VA hospital in El Paso, TX. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating with senior designers and project managers through all project stages, from concept to installation.

The candidate will assist with construction documents, FF&E, and design documentation, ensuring VA guidelines are followed and schedules are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional interior design experience, healthcare design preferred.
• Knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, color theory, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Interior Designers and project managers with healthcare interior design services.
• Assist in planning and coordinating interior design projects through installation.
• Prepare construction documents, finish schedules, and FF&E documentation under senior staff.
• Coordinate FF&E planning, inventories, procurement support, and asset tracking.
• Review samples, drawings, and submittals for compliance with project specs.
• Participate in site visits, field verification, and installation inspections.
• Assist with activation activities including furniture installation and relocations.
• Help prepare O&M manuals, SOPs, and project closeout documentation.
