We're currently working on several exciting projects and are looking for a Junior Hard Surface Artist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Create high quality photorealistic vehicles, weapons and props with a strong focus on accuracy and realism
  • Demonstrate a passion for mechanical design and how form, function and aesthetics intersect with gameplay
  • Collaborate with the hard surface team to ensure all assets align with the game’s art direction and technical constraints
  • Ensure assets are optimized for performance while maintaining visual fidelity
  • Incorporate design and gameplay needs into asset creation
  • Accept and apply constructive feedback to continuously improve your craft and understanding of the subject matter
  • Assist in documenting your workflow, techniques and best practices as you progress
  • Participate in playtests to see how vehicles and weapons perform in-game and identify areas for improvement

What we’re looking for

  • Passion for weapons, vehicles and anything mechanical
  • An enthusiasm to grow and immerse yourself in a supportive team and studio culture
  • Ability to research and collate reference material for your assets
  • Experience using Blender and Substance
  • A solid understanding of PBR workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5
