Job summary

Adidas in Indianapolis seeks a production design specialist to translate concepts into licensing-ready visuals. You will create entry-level line art, color specs, and production kits for apparel and headwear, ensuring adherence to adidas standards and manufacturing guidelines.

You will collaborate across design, marketing and development, manage milestones, load revisions in AEM, and deliver final files to the correct locations, while maintaining accuracy and timely SLAs.

Qualifications

• Intermediate MAC skills and advanced Adobe Illustrator
• General knowledge of typography, Photoshop, Bridge and InDesign
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to reconcile data using Excel
• Knowledge of screen print production a plus
• Able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, write business correspondence and communicate effectively
• Strong work ethic, quick learner and excited to work with a fast-paced team
• Quality and detail of work is extremely important
• Requires minimal direction and can work independently
• Flexible nature with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Positive can-do attitude with professionalism

Responsibilities

• Create entry level basic line art (FSA) and color cads for apparel and headwear for internal and external needs
• Create clean production kits for apparel and headwear, including placements for additional silhouettes and manufacturing guides
• Create art that complies with product manufacturability, adidas standards, and league requirements
• Collaborate with design/marketing/development or unplanned requestor regarding visual direction
• Submit files through required proofing processes and deliver licensing ready files per league rules and SLAs
• Own and track projects to complete milestones against SLAs
• Load and provide detailed timeline input on AEM to reflect iteration and deliver to locations
• Perform research and proofread all art files, consult with art leads
• Other duties deemed necessary by management
