Job summary

KeyLogic is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN&C) Systems Software Engineer for the NASA Katherine Johnson IV&V Facility in Fairmont, WV. This on-site role requires eligibility for a Public Trust clearance and hands-on software development across GN&C domains.

You will analyze requirements, design interfaces, develop simulations, and perform independent tests using in-house tools, collaborating with engineers to ensure mission-critical software meets standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree; 0 years related experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong GN&C concepts knowledge and domain familiarity.
  • Experience with C/C++, Java or similar OO languages.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team; adapt to mission-critical work.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Enterprise Architect, or MagicDraw is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop GN&C and related systems software across NASA lifecycle phases.
  • Assess artifacts for correctness, completeness, and feasibility against standards.
  • Analyze draft and final products for peer reviews and testing readiness.
  • Support independent test scenarios and verification procedures.
  • Utilize AI-assisted analysis tools to aid findings.
  • Collaborate with team members, perform peer reviews, and share knowledge.
