Job summary

Strada is seeking a Payroll Operations professional to manage end-to-end payroll transactions and reporting. You will work on ticket-driven tasks and ensure compliance with payroll calendars, payslips, and client requirements.

The role requires Advanced German & English (B2) and 1–2 years of Payroll/HR Operations experience. A global, fast-paced environment and HRIS knowledge are part of the daily work. Hybrid/work-from-home options may apply where available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced German & English skills (minimum B2).
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Payroll administration, HR Operations, or a similar HR/Payroll environment.
• Experience or interest in Austrian payroll processes is an advantage.
• Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• HRIS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Support and manage payroll tasks using the ticket and payroll systems.
• Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely handling.
• Utilize hrX suite for payroll processing activities.
• Understand payslips and payroll calendars.
• Identify deviations and support change requests.
• Handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Produce and understand payroll reports and comply with statutory reporting.
• Review and validate payroll data, escalate corrections when needed.
• Respond to payroll questions via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
• Support SOX/SOC1 controls and compliance activities.
• Maintain Defined Work Instructions and assist with third-party transactions.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and RCA activities.
• Support payroll system maintenance testing and issue resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Austrian payroll legislation and procedures.
• Participate in projects as needed.
