Cooley Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level (Class of 2026) or junior (Classes of 2024 and 2025) associate to join its dynamic, internationally recognized corporate practice. Our corporate attorneys advise entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and established companies on sophisticated matters, with a significant emphasis on technology, life sciences, and other high-growth industries. Entry-level candidates with a background reflecting a strong interest in corporate practice and junior associates with one to two years of general corporate experience involving public and/or private companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in or experience with some combination of emerging companies and venture capital (EC/VC), debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, and other general corporate matters at a national or international law firm. All candidates should have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000 - $235,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
