Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Platform Engineer for on-site work in Cincinnati, OH to support FX trading platforms including Aphelion, WallStreet Systems, and Caplin. You will engage in application support, testing, automation, and platform improvements with a focus on reliability and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in tech, strong SQL knowledge, and exposure to Python/Java/.NET, REST APIs, and Git, plus Agile experience and interest in financial markets. W2 benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0–3 years of technology experience with SQL basics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, and Git preferred.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools preferred.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum preferred.
• Interest in financial markets or trading systems encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Understand FX trading products and workflows.
• Support Aphelion, WSS, Caplin and integrations.
• Assist with testing, validation, and deployments.
• Create test plans and document results.
• Troubleshoot incidents and monitor health.
• Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
