Job summary

Black Cape is seeking a Stupendous Full Stack Software Engineer (Junior – Senior) with 2+ years of professional development experience. The role is onsite in Northern Virginia (Reston/Arlington/Chantilly/McLean) with a TS/SCI clearance requirement and a 3–5 day onsite work week.

You will build cloud‑native web apps, analyze data, and enable ML capabilities for Intelligence Community customers. You will collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement robust solutions, maintain code

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented language (Java, Python, C#, or C++).
• Experience with at least one MVC framework (Spring, Django, Flask, or Rails).
• Experience with at least one relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, sqlite3).
• Experience working on Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS).
• Working knowledge of web application basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud‑native web applications and data analysis tools for Intelligence Community customers.
• Write and maintain code across the full stack with limited direction.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, stakeholders, and end users to design and implement solutions.
• Rapidly learn and adopt new languages, frameworks, and technologies.
