Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Java/React Full Stack Developer to join a collaborative team in Columbus, OH. You will help design, develop, and integrate applications on the User ID platform for authentication, aligning with company strategy and goals.

Applications will be accepted until at least November 6, 2026. You will participate in Agile ceremonies, review features, and develop solutions using Java and React, along with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Java and/or React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis and review of features and user stories.
• Participate in the design and review of technical design of component software features.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Develop technical solutions based upon user specifications and technology frameworks, in adherence with Huntington standards.
• Update and maintain technical documentation for projects and assignments using appropriate tools and deliverables.
• Proactively research, identify, and resolve issues and/or code.
• Participate in code reviews and the integration testing of solutions.
• Participate in the debugging and resolution of issues found during testing ..
• Assist in the documentation and implementation of software programs and solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams interfacing with assigned application.
• Create and maintain system documentation, manuals, policy documents, etc.
• Research and analyze production support issues.
• Participates in production releases as scheduled.
• Participates in the team's on-call rotation for application support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
