Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to support a file management application team within a Federal Operations Group. You’ll contribute to building scalable web apps using Python/JavaScript, React/Angular, and AWS in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with DevOps, CI/CD, and secure file transfer workflows. The position requires 1–2 years of hands-on development and a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
1–2 years of full stack web development with Python/JavaScript/NodeJS.
Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Git and collaborative development workflows.
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and DevOps practices.
Docker and Kubernetes experience.
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
Automated testing frameworks and TDD familiarity.
Agile/Scrum in a flat organization.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain web apps with modern frontend and backend tech.
Collaborate with seniors to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable apps on cloud.
Develop responsive UI with Angular or React.
Develop backend services using Python and/or NodeJS.
Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs.
Deploy and maintain apps on AWS.
Work in Linux environments for deployment and troubleshooting.
Write clean, well-documented code following standards.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing and performance optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum.
Troubleshoot production issues and maintain availability.
