Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Federal Operations Group. You will support a file management application team, helping deliver enterprise platforms and shared services for a federal health care organization.

You’ll work with Angular/React, Python/NodeJS, and AWS, across a high-performing Agile team, with opportunities for growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of full-stack web development with Python, JavaScript, NodeJS.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
• Ability to independently research and suggest solutions for ongoing improvement including new frameworks and infrastructure requirements.
• Self-starter with strong communication and Agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Collaborate with senior developers, product owners, and DevOps to design, test, and deploy scalable applications on cloud.
• Develop responsive UI with Angular and/or React.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and/or NodeJS.
• Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs with frontend apps and third-party services.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud services.
• Work in Linux environments for deployment, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Write clean, well-documented code and follow standards.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain application availability.
