Job summary

Citco Technology Management in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join the Recon IT team and help design, build, and maintain web applications using React on the frontend and Python on the backend.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers across the globe, contribute to REST/GraphQL integrations, participate in testing and documentation, and continuously learn new technologies in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of web app development using JavaScript, Python and JSON.
• Strong skills in JavaScript UI/UX frameworks (React/Material) and design patterns.
• Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs from a SPA client.
• Cloud training or cloud certifications are a plus (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Able to adapt to new technologies and work well in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English; team player.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications.
• Work with React and Node and broader web tech (JavaScript, JSON).
• Apply design patterns and ensure responsive, cross-browser SPA behavior.
• Write and execute units and integration tests; document changes.
• Collaborate with peers and leads to deliver solutions.
• Learn, evaluate, and implement new technologies as needed.
