Job summary

UST is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Data CoE in Atlanta, focusing on building data-driven applications and platforms. You will work across frontend and backend technologies, APIs, and data pipelines, collaborating with data engineers and scientists to deliver scalable solutions.

Role requires 0–3 years of experience, a 2024–2026 graduation window, and knowledge of React, Java/Python/Node.js, SQL/NoSQL, REST, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Graduation year 2024–2026 required.
• GPA 3.5 or higher.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Frontend: React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Backend: Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Databases: SQL (Postgres or MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB preferred).
• APIs: REST or microservices architecture.
• Cloud exposure: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Tools: Git, CI/CD, Docker (good to have).
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to work with data APIs and analytics‑driven use cases.
• Exposure or interest in AI/ML‑driven or data‑centric applications (nice to have).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end full stack applications (frontend + backend).
• Build scalable data-driven applications and APIs.
• Integrate applications with enterprise data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, APIs).
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and architects.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and debugging.
• Ensure code quality, testing, and adherence to modern engineering practices (CI/CD).
