Job summary

Horizon Media is seeking a Junior Frontend Software Engineer to develop and maintain modern React-based UIs. You will collaborate with senior engineers to build scalable web applications using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, while consuming REST APIs via Axios or Fetch.

The role emphasizes code quality, collaboration in an Agile environment, and ongoing learning. You will contribute to front-end development, application integration, and engineering excellence by writing clean,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1-3 years of professional front-end experience.
• Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience consuming REST APIs using Axios or Fetch.
• Comfortable working with JSON data and API responses.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
• Familiarity with arrays, objects, maps and sets.
• Experience with Git commands (push, pull, merge, fork, clone).
• Basic debugging with browser dev tools.

Responsibilities

• Front-End App Development: Build and maintain React/TypeScript UI components.
