Job summary

LoveShackFancy is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business analysis across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, providing the CFO/COO with timely, accurate data and insights to guide strategic decision-making.

You will work across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale on revenue and expenses, build financial models, and translate numbers into clear recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, data analysis, or a related role (retail/apparel/consumer goods a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with BI/reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ERP and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support variance analysis and provide drivers commentary.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash flow.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Compile data from ERP, POS, e-commerce, and retail partners.
• Create dashboards and recurring reports on sales and KPIs.
• Identify trends and opportunities in sales and operations.
• Support leadership with materials for meetings and reporting.
