Job summary

Inotiv is seeking a Formulation Scientist to join our collaborative team. This role is suitable for early-career professionals (1–3 years) with a chemistry background who enjoy hands-on formulation work in a regulated lab.

You will prepare dosing formulations, maintain records, troubleshoot issues, and support cross-functional studies in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Chemistry, 0–3 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field from an accredited institution.
• 0–3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in regulated or GLP environments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; data integrity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dosing formulations using standard lab techniques.
• Assemble reagents and equipment for formulation activities.
• Perform GLP-compliant routines and document procedures and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues with supervision as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of formulation activities and data.
